The true cost of goods sold: J Henry Fair at TEDx Wake Forest Univ

A few years old but no less relevant now.

I had a conversation about toilet paper with a dear friend of mine in the middle of a grocery store once.  I was calling out the fact we clear forests to wipe our asses and how SICK that was.  It doesn’t have to be that way.  All of his examples are still relevant today.  Mississippi River = Cancer Alley; yup, so is Ohio River and that one or rather the toxic town (see this for toxic data) he worked in that was on that river killed my Dad.  We are all of us touched by the ravages of what buy but we continue to stick our heads in the sand and ignore it.
