First the whole video… keep in mind that the way Drumeo does this is to play for the victim (Chad and everyone they bring into the process) a drumless version.
There were a few 30 Seconds To MARS tunes I loved so it was so awesome to hear Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers (RHCP) play along to The Kill without ever having heard the song before. And he’s right, he killed it!! So good I had to listen to it like 3 times.
Drumeo does this sort of thing and I always enjoy it like especially when Larnell Lewis played along to some fusion jazz. Check out their YouTube channel. They refer to themselves as “Drum lessons with your favorite drummers.” They’re all about teaching drummer and that’s a very good thing. Drummers are amazing. Of course, my most favorite of all time is the amazing Bill Bruford but I’ve already written about him.
A few months ago Drumeo had Travis Barker’s Favorite Rudiments… very good.
