Like music, genres for books number in the hundreds, maybe thousands when you include non-fiction. One of the ones I’m familiar with and completely support is Cli-Fi. The r/Cli_Fi in reddit has taken years to grow to nearly 300 members but grown it has as the genre has gained popularity. This made me wonder, if there can be a Cli-Fi genre, why not an AI-Fi? Artificial Intelligence Fiction should not be fiction created by AI but rather Fiction ABOUT AI.
In that vein I’d like to start accumulating novels of that genre here in this thread. I’d prefer to start an AI-Fi reddit community but the name is already taken. I want to start this because I love reading books of this type and am struggling to find them. Perhaps you are, too?
If you have recommendations please put them in the comments and I’ll add them to the overall list.
